ADAM LINTZ is in his final year as an undergraduate at the Manhattan School of Music, studying bassoon with Frank Morelli. Originally a jazz guitarist, Adam was introduced to the bassoon through the public school music programs in West Essex, New Jersey. He has performed twice with orchestras at Carnegie Hall and was a participant in the Sarasota Music Festival in 2008. While there, Adam became a semi-finalist with the New World Symphony. Recently, Adam was the Third Prize Winner in the Queens Symphony Orchestra’s Young Soloist Competition. Previous teachers include Harry Searing, Larry Maltz, and Krassimir Ivanov.
